TYPICAL FLOOR SEALANT DETAILS

The examples shown below represent simple joint details found in the construction and refurbishment of concrete floors.
The width/depth ratio should be 1:1 to 1.5:1 subject to a minimum 10mm depth.
Sealants which are not designed for direct traffic must be recessed 5-8mm in general.
More robust sealants may be finished flush with the traffic surface.
