Resurfacing floors or concrete work areas to produce new smooth surfaces can be achieved by traditional sand /cement screeding, but this method has its limitations particularly where thin sections and fine tolerances are important. Refurbishment of large areas can also be very labour intensive, however, the use of self-levelling (smoothing) and pumpable screeds can prove quick and economical.

Self-levelling and pumpable screeds can be categorised into;

    Underlayments to floor coverings e.g. carpets, tiles, vinyls and wood laminates.
They are not designed for direct wear situations but are extremely useful in providing a smooth substrate on which to lay the final aesthetic layer. As an internal preparation they can be installed by even the most inexperienced operatives.

    Febflor Plus is an exceptional example of this type of product. Laid at upto 10mm in one application it makes the smoothing of domestic and commercial floors simple with the minimum of disruption.

    Overlayments or final wearing surface screeds designed to withstand punishing fork-lift truck regimes.
Self levelling pumpable screeds are used to renovate damaged and uneven industrial floors. Large production areas and access aisles are returned to service rapidly. Typically upto 2000 sq mtrs can be pumped and laid in one day. Using combined systems 50mm depth screeds are possible.
For internal locations use Ultralevel IT HD Base / Ultralevel IT HD Top from 5 – 50mm depths.
For both internal and external locations use Emaco T350SL .
